Recipe: 4-8lbs.of
Boston Butt (pork shoulder)
Pork Rub
4 cans Baked Beans (24-28oz. each) Your favoriteBarbecue
Sauce
OR make Your Own as shown with
Jalapenos
Garlic Powder
Chili Powder
Cumin
Large bottle of Ketchup
Worcestershire Sauce
Hot Sauce (optional)
Beer
This is a real easy
to grill recipe for BBQ Steaks and Beans, all done on
a basic backyard BBQ grill.
Cut the Pork
Shoulder into 1-1/2" steaks, or buy the steaks if available.
Coat the pork steaks on both sides with pepper, garlic and salt
as shown. Sear the pork steaks and then place them in a pan of
bbq sauce, opposite the hot coals.
Add the beans to
the pot, a can of beer, and then some wood chunks to the
fire. Cover the grill and slow simmer for about two hours,
or more if you can wait!
